If you’re searching for a wedding venue near Raleigh that feels refined, spacious, and thoughtfully designed from start to finish, Donovan Manor is such a beautiful option. Getting Ready Spaces at Donovan Manor

One of my favorite things about Donovan Manor is how much thought has gone into the getting-ready experience. The getting-ready suites are both inside the main house and gorgeous. The rooms are filled with natural light, luxurious furnishings, and plenty of space for your loved ones.

Ceremony & Reception Spaces at Donovan Manor

One of the standout features of Donovan Manor is the number of thoughtfully designed ceremony and reception options, each with its own unique atmosphere. Most spaces can be used for ceremonies, receptions, or cocktail hours. And since the venue is so versatile, you don’t have to worry about the weather, because you can always bring the ceremony and party indoors!

• The Infinity Garden is easily one of the most romantic spots on the property. With rows of roses, seasonal blooms, and soft greenery surrounding the space, it creates a naturally beautiful setting without needing much added to it.
  
• For couples wanting an indoor or more intimate option, The Trestle Lounge offers a completely different but equally beautiful feel. With large windows overlooking the surrounding greenery and views of the historic trestle bridge, it brings in so much natural light while still feeling cozy and connected. It’s a lovely option for ceremonies, cocktail hour, or smaller gatherings where you want that indoor-outdoor feel without being fully outside.
  
• Just outside, The Meadow View Terrace extends the reception space with a beautiful brick patio and a built-in indoor-outdoor bar. It’s perfect for cocktail hour, stepping out for fresh air, or those slower moments during the evening when guests want to gather and connect.
  
• The Grand Ballroom is the heart of the reception experience. With its tall ceilings, clean design, and an entire wall of windows overlooking the grounds, the space feels open, airy, and incredibly versatile. It acts as a blank canvas in the best way — whether your design vision leans minimal and refined or layered and full of texture and color. 

One of the most thoughtful design elements is how the ballroom opens directly to the outdoor spaces. Large glass doors create an easy transition between indoors and out, allowing guests to move freely throughout the evening.

Photo Opportunities Throughout the Property

The versatility of the outdoor spaces means there are options for couples with different visions, and the property’s grounds offer so many natural backdrops for portraits throughout the day. The white exterior of the manor, the manicured landscaping, the rose bushes in full bloom — we had so many options, and I never ran out of spots I wanted to capture.

Of course, the elegant interior spaces are stunning as well, if that is more your vibe. You will truly have an endless variety of images in your gallery!

How Much Does a Donovan Manor Wedding Cost

The cost of a wedding at Donovan Manor can vary depending on the time of year, day of the week, and the services you choose, but here’s a general pricing breakdown:

• Monday – Thursday: $3,000 – $4,500
  
• Friday: $7,000 – $10,000
  
• Saturday: $9,000 – $14,000
  
• Sunday: $6,000 – $9,000

A beverage minimum applies to all weekend events. I’d recommend reaching out to the Donovan Manor team directly for the most current pricing and package details, as availability and offerings can vary by season! 

One of the standout features of this venue is their on-site catering team, which helps ensure a seamless experience and high-quality service throughout your day. Having a dedicated team that knows the space well makes such a difference in how smoothly everything flows.

The venue can host intimate weddings for up to 50 people, as well as large events for up to 299 seated guests. 

Lanie + Andy’s Donovan Manor Wedding Day

Lanie and Andy’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of their Vietnamese and Korean heritage, their families, and the deep love they share. It was such a joy to be a part of it! 

The day started off relaxed as everyone leisurely got ready together in the estate’s beautiful getting-ready spaces. 

Lanie and Andy shared a sweet first look in one of the front rooms filled with gorgeous natural light. It was one of those moments that felt completely natural — full of laughter, a little bit of nervous energy, and so much love between them.

Their bridal party brought such a fun, supportive energy, and I loved the rich tones of the dresses for a fall wedding. Everything felt cohesive, warm, and thoughtfully chosen.

The couple chose the Infinity Garden for their ceremony, where Lanie and Andy read private vows to each other. Some of my favorite photos were taken after they put on their wedding rings. They were so excited, and the photos really captured those feelings so beautifully! 

The reception carried that energy throughout the night. Rich florals, candlelight everywhere, tables decorated in rich reds and greens, and a room full of people who clearly adored this couple. Some of my favorite frames from the whole day were the guest reactions — people mid-laugh, eyes full of tears, leaning over to squeeze each other’s hands. That’s what a wedding is really about, and Donovan Manor gave us the perfect setting to capture all of it.
